Marriott Bonvoy hotels in Indonesia partner with Kawasaki for a Superbike event in Bali and Lombok
Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott International’s extraordinary portfolio of 31 hotel brands, an award-winning travel program and endless experiences, partnered with renowned powersports brand, Kawasaki, for a two-day Superbike event in Indonesia. The highly anticipated event was held in Mandalika, with the special participation of Adrián Huertas del Olmo, a professional motorcycle racer from Spain, who is set to compete in the 2022 Supersport World Championship with MTM Kawasaki. To the delight of his fervent supporters, Huertas del Olmo participated in two meet-and-greet sessions in Bali and Lombok.
The first leg of the meet and greet session kicked off in Bali’s most vibrant neighborhood, W Bali – Seminyak. The luxury resort is located in the heart of Seminyak, where the design embodies the archipelago with a paddy field-inspired WET® pool. Guests can maintain their fitness program on the go at the 24-hour AWAY® Spa and FIT gym and recharge at Starfish Bloo and FIRE, and WOOBAR Bali, a beachfront venue with a magnetic social scene and panoramic views of the Indian Ocean.
On November 8, 2022, the second part of the meet and greet session took place at the Sheraton Senggigi Beach Resort. Offering a relaxing environment and packed with Lombok’s culinary and natural attractions, the beachfront resort is an ideal pinnacle before the exciting event. Guests can relax and enjoy some nice tropical comfort at the resort and enjoy a glass of craft cocktail by the iconic pool in the afternoon.
“He was a protégé, a bicycle and the road ahead. All she needed was for someone to believe in him. Today, Adrián Huertas is world champion. At Marriott Bonvoy, we believe in nurturing talent and supporting the next generation to be the best in their field. This significant partnership with Kawasaki has enabled us to do that and we look forward to supporting more such efforts,” shared Ramesh Jackson, Area Vice President (Indonesia), Marriott International.
