Padma Resort Legian proudly introduces Executive Chef Jocelyn Argaud, also known as Chef Jo, whose impressive career spans over three decades. Chef Jo brings extensive experience from top-notch French Michelin-starred restaurants and diverse international fine dining spots.

Growing up in Lyon, France, Chef Jo’s passion for cooking ignited by watching his mother cook at home. After a decade of a career in France, he moved to the USA and journeyed through Russia, Qatar, Dubai, Maldives, and beyond. His notable achievements include serving world leaders at the G8 Summit with his culinary masterpieces. Plus, he led an elite team of 18 chefs at the Royal Palace of Qatar, delivering the pinnacle of French cuisine.

Beginning his career in Indonesia in 2016 as an Executive Chef at Four Seasons Bali, he later moved to Intercontinental Jakarta Midplaza. From travelling the world, including Egypt, he’s landed at Padma Resort Legian to spice up and elevate its dining experience.

Chef Jocelyn passionately defines his culinary philosophy: “Being a chef is about creating good moments for our guests as they enjoy their time at the table, exploring new flavours, unique local specialities, and immersing themselves in the rich local culture and ingredients.”
